Meizu has launched the M8C in an event in Moscow, Russia, that was organised to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Meizu.
The photos and specifications of the phone have been listed on the official Russian website of Meizu. The phone is the successor of the Meizu M5C, which was just launched in the international markets by Meizu last year (except China).
The phone comes with a 5.45 inch HD+ 18:9 display, with contrast ratio of 1000:1 and maximum brightness upto 450 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 425 Soc with Adreno 308 GPU, and is available in two memory variants, 2+16GB or 3+32GB. The camera department includes a rear f/2.2 13MP camera with PDAF, and a front 8MP camera. Both cameras have algorithms from ArcSoft for capturing better images. The phone gets its juice from a 3070 mAh battery. Though the phone misses a fingerprint sensor, but it may be replaced by a face unlock (something like Apple did XD).
The phone is available at $160, as a combo with Meizu ME20 earphones. Meizu has still not officially announced it in any other countries. Stay tuned for further updates!
