The Meizu M6 Note has seen notable demand in China, thanks to the fact that it is a well-rounded mid-range phone. But it looks like the M6 Note will be followed by a device that harkens to the past in terms of hardware specifications. Images of a device purported to be the Meizu M6 have leaked online today, with some of its specs revealed through the CPU-Z app showing the phone will not be much of an upgrade over the M5, if at all.
Meizu M6 specs aren’t very impressive
The M6 has a 5.2-inch HD display (with a home button underneath) and the MediaTek MT6750 chipset, the same as the M5. There’s 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which were also part of the spec sheet with the M5, suggesting a 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model could exist as well. Other specs aren’t visible in the leaked images, so we’ll have to wait for more details to form a clearer picture. But it sure does look like the M6 could simply be an M5 predecessor with newer software.
