Meizu 16, that has now been leaking for a while, is expected to launch in August this year. The renders of the phone were leaked on Weibo, with a full screen display somewhat like the Samsung S9, and the rear design similar to Meizu 15 but with curved sides.
The phone is also expected to come with an under display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers like on the Meizu 15. Meizu might also switch to 18:9 display. If the cameras get upgraded, they would also be great because even the current Meizu 15 has flagship cameras with IMX 380 sensor, same as on the Huawei P20 which is ranked second on the DXOMark.
A photo was also leaked showing the back side of the phone, though it might just be a prototype.
The image hints that Meizu might adopt a glass back for its new flagship, which might also lead to wireless charging, that would be first time on any Meizu phone. Though nothing is confirmed. The top variant is expected to come with a Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810 Soc. Stay tuned with MeizuMatters for more updates!
