Meizu 15 series went on a sale online on April 28th, and Meizu says all three phones went out of stock, in just 45 minutes. Only 33 minutes of sale exceeded their total sales of 11.11 in 2017. This is a pretty good achievement for them.
As per the specifications, Meizu 15 features a 5.46 inch 1080P AMOLED display, powered by a Snapdragon 660 Soc, with storage options of 4+64 GB or 4+128 GB. The former is priced at approximately 395$, and the latter one is at 440$. The camera department includes dual 12 MP IMX 380 + 20 MP IMX 350 cameras, and a 20 MP selfie shooter is present at the front.
Next is the Meizu 15 Plus, featuring a 5.9 inch QHD AMOLED display. The phone is powered by the same chipset that is also inside Galaxy S8 and Note 8, the Exynos 8895. As for the storage options, 6+64 or 6+128 GB are available. The former is priced at 475$ and the latter is priced at 520$. The cameras are same as on the Meizu 15.
They also have a small brother Meizu 15 Lite. It is a little downgraded version of these two phones, and is just available for $270 in a 4+64 GB storage option. It features a rear 12 MP camera with IMX 362 sensor, and a front 20 MP camera. It is powered by a lower-end Snapdragon 626 chipset. Though this phone is not sold in China, and is aimed at Global markets only.
Some Meizu accessories were also on sale. Pop earphones, priced around 80$ were sold-out in just 9 seconds on JingDong Mall and 95 seconds on Meizu Mall. Halo earphones, priced at 160$ went out of stock in just 4 minutes in Meizu Mall, and 25 minutes in JingDong Mall.
The phones were now available in just some flagship stores through China, but soon will be available in more. Meizu is also planning to sell these phones in many other Asian and European countries. Stay tuned with MeizuMatters for more updates!
