Meizu Global Community, which includes fans from all over the world have started a petition online on “Change.org”. Interestingly, this petition isn’t against Meizu, but just demanding for a change in how Meizu considers their overseas customers.
Meizu is not properly focusing in any of the markets except China which even includes the most important countries for them like India, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, France, etc. (Indian condition being the worse). Fans believe that the company is only focusing in the Chinese markets, and not listening to their international fans.
Also on the software side, the condition of Flyme OS for international fans isn’t looking good. Delayed updates is one of the major reason. The suggestions are never taken seriously nor implemented. Some fans also believe that if Meizu can’t take care of Flyme global versions, they should switch to Stock Android.
Meizu still has a very good chance to grow in many countries, that are being currently ignored by them. The petition is being signed by Meizu fans from all over the world. At the time of writing, more than 900 people had signed it. If you also want to see a change in how Meizu works in the international markets, please do sign in the petition below:
