Recently, Meizu has launched the Pro 7 in India, which is available at Amazon. Now, the company is getting ready to launch yet another phone, that is the Meizu M6.
A senior Meizu employee has informed us that they’re bringing the M6 in India soon, which would be followed by some more models in future.
The phone is the successor of Meizu M5, launched in India last year. The specifications are also somewhat similar to the M5. On the front, it has a 5.2 inch HD 16:9 display, along with the mBack button on bottom with a fingerprint sensor, unlocking the phone in just 0.2 seconds. The back is cleverly made up of polycarbonate, which almost looks like metal with 2 slightly curved antenna bands on top and bottom. The phone is powered by the MTK 6750 Soc. The rear camera is of 13 Megapixels, with 4 color RGWB sensor and also supports PDAF. The front camera is upgraded to 8 MP, which captures very good selfies for its price with the help of algorithms from Arcsoft. The phone has a 3070 mAh battery, and connectivity options also include 4G VoLTE. Though, only the 2+16 GB storage varient would be launched first, priced around ₹7000.
Meizu wants to take the Indian market seriously, as it is the second largest smartphone market in the world, after China. Recently Meizu India’s official Twitter handle also replied to us that they are planning to make their phones in India.
This looks like a very good news for all Meizu fans in India. Hope the brand will launch more phones in the country soon, with well-balanced prices.
